Senior Singapore Official Visits Jtibot Ahead of the APEC Summit in Shenzhen, Praises AI-Driven Cleaning Solutions

       

     Recently, Mr. Shawn Huang, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Singapore’s Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Manpower, led a delegation to visit Jtibot Co., Ltd. (“Jtibot”) for an exchange and site inspection. The visit aimed to gain in-depth insights into the company’s technological innovation, product commercialization, and strategic development in AI robotics and intelligent cleaning. Senior executives of Jtibot warmly received the delegation, with CTO Rvjo Yan providing a comprehensive tour and detailed briefings throughout the visit. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics including technology R&D, real-world application scenarios, and industrial collaboration, jointly exploring new opportunities for China–Singapore cooperation in science and technology.

     As a key official of the Singapore government, Mr. Huang has long focused on technological innovation and industrial upgrading, with particular emphasis on the application of robotics and AI in public services and industrial empowerment. His visit aims to gain a firsthand understanding of the technological capabilities and growth potential of Chinese innovation-driven enterprises, while fostering stronger bridges for China–Singapore cooperation in science and technology. Since 2024, Mr. Huang has concurrently served as Senior Parliamentary Secretary for both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore, as well as a Member of Parliament for West Coast–Jurong West GRC. With extensive experience in public administration and industry development, he has played an active role in optimizing Singapore’s government procurement systems and supporting innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs).

Site Visit Highlights Strong Technological Capabilities with CTO-Led Demonstration

     At the start of the visit, accompanied by Jtibot’s senior leadership, Mr. Huang and his delegation toured the company’s R&D and testing facilities. CTO Rvjo Yan provided a detailed introduction to the operating principles, technical specifications, and iterative upgrades of the company’s testing systems, with a focus on demonstrating the testing procedures of its core product—low-speed autonomous cleaning vehicles. Drawing on the company’s core strengths, Rvjo Yan explained that as an integrated enterprise covering R&D, manufacturing, and sales, Jtibot possesses comprehensive technological capabilities spanning embedded hardware and software, AI autonomous driving algorithms, and large-scale cleaning models. The company remains committed to advancing next-generation intelligent productivity and building a human–machine collaborative ecosystem under its vision: “Making the world cleaner and cleaning smarter.” He also highlighted the company’s key technological breakthroughs in areas such as AI-powered autonomous navigation, full-scenario intelligent cleaning, and unmanned system integration.

       CTO Rvjo Yan noted that Jtibot’s core team brings together talents from leading institutions such as Nanyang Technological University, the University of Science and Technology of China, Tsinghua University, and Harbin Institute of Technology. With nearly two decades of research expertise in intelligent mobile robotics, the team has developed full-stack core technologies for autonomous unmanned systems and has undertaken multiple national-level research projects. The company’s self-developed testing systems enable comprehensive evaluation of product performance, stability, and safety, providing a solid foundation for large-scale production. Mr. Huang listened attentively and frequently paused to inquire about technical details, application challenges, and commercialization progress, expressing strong recognition of the company’s rigorous R&D approach and advanced technological capabilities.

      The delegation then proceeded to the company’s product showroom, where, under the guidance of CTO Rvjo Yan, they gained a comprehensive understanding of Jtibot’s development history, core products, application scenarios, and market footprint. Drawing on real-world use cases, Rvjo Yan introduced the deployment of the company’s solutions in industrial parks and municipal auxiliary roads, highlighting their effectiveness in localized circulation environments. He also shared the company’s major recognitions, including national-level innovation awards and industry competitions, demonstrating Jtibot’s achievements in advancing the commercialization of intelligent cleaning robotics platforms. Mr. Tan praised the practicality and innovation of the products, showing particular interest in their adaptability to the Singapore market. He also engaged in in-depth discussions with the CTO on environmental standards and operational efficiency.

Strategic Dialogue Builds Consensus for Future Cooperation

       Following the site visit, both parties moved to the conference room for a strategic discussion. Senior management of Jtibot extended a warm welcome to Mr. Huang and his delegation, and provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s development strategy, future plans, and global expansion roadmap.

      The company noted that, since its establishment in 2021, Jtibot has focused on large-scale, scenario-based autonomous cleaning solutions. Its products have now been deployed across more than 80% of provinces in China, as well as in multiple countries and regions worldwide. Moving forward, the company plans to prioritize expansion into Southeast Asia, leveraging Singapore’s strategic location, business-friendly environment, and policy support to deepen collaboration and achieve mutual growth.

     During the discussion, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on technology collaboration, talent development, and market expansion, reaching multiple areas of consensus. Mr. Huang highlighted that Jtibot’s technologies and products could effectively address key challenges in Singapore’s cleaning industry, such as high labor costs and low efficiency. He expressed expectations for strengthened communication, diversified cooperation models, and broader adoption of intelligent cleaning technologies in Singapore, contributing to deeper China–Singapore collaboration in science and technology.

    Jtibot’s management stated that the visit represents an important opportunity to better align with Singapore market needs, continuously optimize its products and solutions, and deepen cooperation in related fields, while jointly exploring new opportunities in the global intelligent cleaning industry.
